JOB- Remote Sensing and Tectonics Scientist

We are seeking a remote sensing scientist to undertake research in detecting and interpreting ground surface deformation and surface change due to tectonic, volcanic, landslide and other processes using interferometric radar and other techniques, and to develop remote sensing for rapid assessment of surface change immediately following natural disasters, in order to aid damage assessment and relief efforts.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in earth sciences or similar, and will have demonstrated a high level of expertise in the application of interferometric radar techniques to ground deformation research.
