The UARC is a partnership between the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) and NASA Ames, established to perform strategic multi¬disciplinary, integrative research and science that supports NASA's long term mission requirements.
The Earth Sciences research area seeks a remote sensing specialist in the UCSC/UARC NASA lab which operates a suite of airborne imaging sensors used for Earth Science research. The incumbent will be responsible for the analysis of scientific remote sensing data, and the generation of associated calibration and metadata products from various airborne infrared and visible imaging devices.
The worksite location for this position is NASA Ames Research Center at Moffett Field, Mountain View, CA.
Qualifications include:
* Masters Degree in Geography, Earth Sciences, or equivalent, with approximately 5 years relevant experience, or a Bachelors Degree with approximately 7 years relevant experience.
